Weber and Middleby Schedule Earnings Calls – Earnings Roundup

Weber Inc. (NYSE: WEBR), the makers of Weber grills, announced that they scheduled their fiscal second quarter earnings release for Monday, May 16th, 2022. Weber management will host a conference call at 7:30 am CT (8:30 am ET) that morning to discuss their results. The 8 analysts covering Weber have an EPS estimate range of $0.14 to $0.22 with an average of $0.19. Of the analysts, 7 have released revenue estimates with a range of $644.06 million to $673.7 million and an average of $660.77 million. Weber’s previous quarter wasn’t well received as they noted supply chain issues for 2022. We’ll see if they have been able to overcome them in their latest call.

Elsewhere in Illinois, Middleby Corporation (NASDAQ: MIDD), the makers of Kamado Joe, Masterbuilt and Char-Griller amongst other brands, announced that they are releasing first quarter earnings on Tuesday, May 10th, 2022. They will release earning before the market opens and then have a conference call at 10 am CT (11 am ET) to discuss the results. The 9 analysts covering Middleby have their EPS ranging from $1.83 to $2.32 on the quarter, with an average of $2.10. Of the 9 analysts, 6 gave revenue estimates ranging from $890 million to $971 million, with an average of $935.99 million.

The only public company that has yet to schedule their earning for this cycle, is outdoor cooking newcomer American Outdoor Brands, who recently acquired Grilla Grills. Vista Outdoor, who has a similar company to American Outdoor Brands, soundly beat estimate in their release yesterday. They also announced that they are splitting into two separate public companies.

It’s unknown when Blackstone will give their earnings release, as they have not completed their process of going public yet. Solo Brands, the parent company of Solo Stove, and Traeger are scheduled to release earnings next week.
