Chiminea outdoor fireplaces have been around for about 400 years as a great way to bring some heat to the outdoors. The classic bulbous aesthetic is also a favorite for many people for their outdoor living spaces.
TIKI Brand has just released the Chiminea Outdoor Fireplace, which is their take on the fireplace design that has withstood the test of time. Like with their other products though, they’ve added some engineering to make it even more versatile.

Fuel Versatility
What makes the TIKI Chiminea better than others on the market is it’s not simply a fireplace that you throw logs into. You can do that, sure, but there are also other fuel sources you can use to make creating warmth and ambiance easier.
There’s a pellet hopper on the back of the Chiminea that you can load with 9 lbs of pellets. Gravity will feed them into the fireplace and give you about 2 hours of a full flame.
While everyone likes a log fire, using pellets is a quicker way and easier way to get a fire going. There’s no fussing with moving around logs, there’s no popping from trapped moisture, and there’s much less smoke.
For people that want an even easier approach, the Chiminea also works with TIKI’s wood packs. They are packs of wood pellets, that you start by lighting the corners.
They provide a 30 minute fire for when you want a fire, but don’t have the time to build one. You can also always add more wood to it after it’s going, if you want to sit by it longer.
I really liked that feature on TIKI’s fire pit, so I’m glad to see it here. It’s great when you’re tight on time, or if you have small kids that want a fire but don’t have the attention span to sit around one for hours.
