Rechargeable Block
The best feature on the TempSpike Pro compared to other wireless probes on the market is the rechargeable block. It has a neat modular design where you can stack up to four probes on it and it has a charging block for the display too. This keeps everything self contained and it’s nice to have a home for the display with the probes.
I’m a fan of wireless probes that have a display in addition to the phone app. It can be cumbersome to continually open an app, especially if your cooking low and slow with a live fire. You want constant monitoring of the ambient temp, which means you can’t use your phone for anything else.
