Just after releasing their first propane grill, Ninja continues to release new outdoor cooking products. Today they released the Artisan Pizza Oven, which is an electric pizza oven for outdoor use.
Their new pizza oven has a digital display that you use for setting the type of pizza you’re cooking and the temperature. It has a temperature range of 90 degrees F to 700 degrees F, so it can cook a variety of food besides just pizza.
When cooking at 700 degrees it will cook a pizza in three minutes. To make the process easier than a gas or wood fueled pizza oven, this oven heats evenly, so you don’t need to rotate your pizza at all during the cook.

A neat feature that I haven’t seen on other ovens is it has a proof setting for proofing dough. That’s helpful for getting your dough ready with different types of baking.
Ninja managed to keep the price down on their latest oven too. It retails for $279.99 (check price), which is very accessible.
Not for Indoor Use
I think what’s most surprising about the pizza oven is it’s electric, but it’s only for outdoor use. Many of the electric pizza ovens on the market can be used for either, which adds to their versatility. This one specifically says not to use it indoors
Artisan Pizza Oven vs. Ninja Woodfire Oven
Beyond the new Artisan Pizza Oven, Ninja has another outdoor oven that they released two years ago. If you’re shopping for an electric pizza oven from Ninja, you’ll want to look at that one too.
It retails for $399.99, but they run sales on it for $299.99 (check price). It has many of the same features, including a max temperature of 700 degrees F. It’s also bigger in every dimension.
The Woodfire Oven is called that because it has a pellet smoker box on the side, like the Woodfire Grill. That’s a feature that you won’t find on the Artisan Oven.
At full-price, I’d go with the Artisan Oven, but when the Woodfire Oven is on sale for $299.99, it seems like a no brainer to get the Woodfire Oven. It’s bigger and can do more, for only an additional $20.
