Nexgrill’s Daytona griddle line got a little bit bigger with the addition of a small griddle. They introduced a new 1-burner griddle that is a great size for camping, tailgating, or for people that don’t need a large griddle.

Features

  • Retail price of $139.99 – sold exclusively at Home Depot, like their Oakford pellet grills
  • 272 square inches of cooking space
  • Powered by a single, 12,000 BTU burner
  • Push and turn ignition
  • Grease management in the rear with a removeable grease cup and foil liner

Having a single-burner flat top in your kitchen repertoire elevates your morning with a diner-style breakfast and allows you to cook up those ‘secret menu’ smash burgers while camping. This smaller portable Daytona model is easy to travel with, clean and store so you can make whatever you want, wherever you want.

The griddle is powered by 1 lb propane cylinders, which if you’re in California, beware of a potential ban on single use cylinders. The griddle likely weighs under 24 lbs, and we say likely because Nexgrill’s teaser video claims that, but the specifications on Home Depot’s website say 37.5 lbs. We’re not sure why there’s a descrepancy.

If you’re looking for a small, inexpensive griddle, this is a good option. If you need one that’s a little bigger, with more features, check out this camping griddle from Pit Boss.
