There’s two new products coming soon that we’re excited about. Both have been just teased at this point, so all we can do is speculate.
Pitts & Spitts Griddle
One of our favorite companies in outdoor cooking is Pitts & Spitts. They specialize in making grills and smokers out of thick steel in their shop in Houston, Texas.
Raw American steel sheets come into their shop that are fabricated and leave as completed grills. I toured their facility before and can personally vouch that there’s no “assembled in the US” or “made with US parts” here.
They posted on their Instagram as teaser of a new product that will be coming soon.
It would appear to be a new gas powered griddle. Pitts & Spitts used to make gas grills a long time ago, and they still do on some of their impressive custom barbecue rigs.
This would be the only gas product they currently offer off the shelf. It looks like a real beauty too.
You can get many different Pitts & Spitts smokers in stainless steel, and it would appear the griddle in the picture is stainless steel. It will be a great looking product that will last a really long time.

TIKI Brand Wood Heater
TIKI Brand makes some great products to keep you warm, and cook on, outside. Their fire pit is one of our favorites because it has some innovative features, like the 30-minute fire.
TIKI also released a really cool modular propane fire pit earlier this year that can be converted into a stunning patio heater. TIKI’s design work is second to none.
They are teasing another new product that I’m sure will make it’s way into a lot of back patios.
The shape and the burning log looks very similar to a Chiminea with a heat deflector on top. That would add some ambiance while doubling as a patio heater.
What I’m really curious about is how they’ll execute their new patio heater. I could see it being one of two ways.
The first is the most obvious. It could just be a standalone product, just like I described, an outdoor fireplace with a heat deflector.
The second is as an attachment to their fire pit. I don’t know if this is feasible for stability with the design of their fire pit, but that would be unlike anything else on the market.
The good thing is, with fire pit season around the corner, we won’t have to wait long to find out. TIKI’s new product is set to be released on September 9th, and we’ll have all the details.
