Next week is going to be a busy week for earnings. Traeger has scheduled their earnings release for November 9th, followed by Solo Brands on the 10th. Now, Middleby has scheduled their Q3 2022 earnings release for the same day as Traeger.
While Middleby has been in the high-end grill market for some time with brands like Lynx and Viking, they made a big splash at the end of last year when they acquired Kamado Joe, Masterbuilt and Char-Griller.
Most of the their business is in the commercial cooking space, so they’re largely insulated from the current turmoil in outdoor cooking. Last quarter they oddly took time to highlight the Masterbuilt Gravity Series including the Portable Charcoal Grill. We’ll see if they have any more recent product updates this go-round.
