We saw bad economic news out of Traeger last week and Weber this week. We’ll get a chance to see how widespread the economic woes are when Camp Chef parent company Vista Outdoor releases earnings on July 28th and now from Middleby which has scheduled their earnings release for August 4th.
Middleby is the parent company for many commercial and residential cooking brands including Masterbuilt, Char-Griller, Kamado Joe, Lynx and Viking. Their overall business portfolio is more insulated from any economic conditions in outdoor cooking than Weber and Traeger, but we’re hoping they’ll give us more details on that segment.
The analysts covering them have revenue estimates for the quarter ending June 2022 ranging from $995.6 million to $1.01 billion, with an average of $999.54 million. Earnings per share is expected be between $1.67 to $2.19 with an average of $2.10.
