Ace Hardware keeps expanding their brand and footprint. While they’re converting Aubuchon Hardware locations to Ace stores, they’ve also opened the largest store in Chicago. JC Licht Ace Hardware in Logan Square at 2160 N. Milwaukee Ave just opened with 14,500 square feet of space.
The size of the store is unique for an urban hardware store, as Jeremy Melnick, vice president of Ace Hardware for JC Licht told Block Club Chicago.
We are excited to be part of the neighborhood and get reacquainted with the neighborhood after some absence. It’s a full-size, suburban-style store in an urban market.

The new store fills an absence left when Gillman Ace Hardware closed earlier this year. At triple the size of the previous Ace location, they carry a wide range of products including grills and consumables.
