American Outdoor Brands (AOB), formerly Smith & Wesson Holding Corp, entered the grill market earlier this year by the acquisition of grill maker Grilla Grills for $27 million. Now we hope to get a peak at how the integration is going as they’re set to report earnings.
AOB is on a fiscal year instead of a calendar year, so this quarter marks the end of their 2022 fiscal year. The earnings release is set to occur on Thursday, July 14, 2022 with a conference call at 5 pm ET.
AOB’s business is broken up into verticals that they call “brand lanes”. The Adventurer brand lane is where Grills Grills is housed. Competitor Vista Outdoor is structured similarly, except they are taking it a step further and breaking their divisions up into separate public companies.
The three analysts covering AOB estimate 2022 revenue will come in between $246.76 million and $248 million and earnings between $1.66 and $1.72.
