The competition in the griddle segment has never been hotter. While Blackstone has dominated it, all of the largest grill manufacturers have released griddles this year in an effort to compete. The latest is from Char-Broil, with a 28″ 3-burner gas griddle and a tabletop 22″ 2-burner model.

28″ Griddle

Weber recently came out with a 28″ 3-burner gas griddle, and not be outdone, Char-Broil is released one too, that’s cheaper. The Char-Broil 28″ griddle retails for $100 less at $349.99 (check price).

It has updated styling from Char-Broil’s 4-burner model that’s been on the market. Like the Weber, it features an electronic ignition, a grease management system, two side tables, and a hard cover.

Tabletop Griddle

In addition to the 28″ griddle, Char-Broil launched a new tabletop model. It’s a 22″ griddle, with two burners, and is a good size for taking with you.

The new flattop is priced at $149.99 (check price), or bundled with a cover and an adapter for $169.99 (check price).
