The parent company of Camp Chef, Vista Outdoor (NYSE: VSTO) released their Q1 2022 earnings today. They had a good quarter and soundly beat analysts estimates leading their stock to be up on a day that the market indices are down. They reported quarterly earnings of $2.04 per share and revenue of $808.6 million. They’ve now beaten estimates for revenue and EPS four consecutive quarters.
The main focus of the earnings call today was centered around how they are going to split Vista Outdoor into 2 separate public companies. They also announced that they are holding an investor day on May 23, 2022, which we’ll tune into to see if they’ll finally release the Camp Chef Apex dual fuel grill.
