Vista Outdoor, the parent company of Camp Chef, announced plans to release their second quarter fiscal year 2023 financial results. They’ll release the financial results on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2022 after the market closes with a conference call the following morning at 9:00am.
Vista Outdoor will be the first of the publicly owned grill companies to release earnings after the grilling season. This will be our first peek at how the season finished out. If the recent news that Weber is looking at additional debt financing is any indicator, the grilling season probably ended as disappointing as it started.
While it won’t make an impact in the quarter that just ended due to timing, Camp Chef recently released the Woodwind Pro that was very positively received. They also noted on their last earnings call that they saw a bright spot in camp stoves with a 30% increase in sales.
