Some of the highlights in the report include an expected 100 million gallons of water saved by a change in their Lewiston, ID facility that reduces the need for over 10 different chemicals and reduces water usage to less than 1% of the legacy process. At their Oroville, CA location, the team created a wastewater evaporation project that eliminate 55,000 gallons of wastewater. This keeps it from being hauled off as hazardous waste for treatment.
At Camp Chef, they purchased a industrial baler that has has rerouted 28,000 pounds of cardboard and plastic wrap from the landfill to the local recycling center.
