While Vista Outdoor is still determining the fate of the company, their Outdoor Products division, Revelyst, has added a new member to its executive team. They announced that Joe Beck has been appointed to the position of Chief Supply Chain Officer.

He has a unique talent for transforming a company’s supply chain by consolidating facilities and building new capabilities, which have a direct impact on the bottom line. Joe will help revolutionize Revelyst at the enterprise, platform and brand level, and we welcome his innovative thinking as we continue to build our culture of empowerment and excellence.

It’s an important role for the collection of brands because it could be key to unlocking net margin through supply chain consolidation. It was a focus area identified when Revelyst presented their GEAR Up strategy to achieve savings at a run rate of $125 million. Revelyst CEO Eric Nyman had the following remarks about their supply chain at the time.

Joe Beck will be tasked with helping Revelyst achieve their cost savings goals. He most recently was a Vice President of Global Supply Chain for embecta, a publicly traded medical technology company where he oversaw global supply chain and distribution operations, including the overhaul of their global network design, planning, logistics, and trade technology and change management leadership.
