Camp Chef parent company Vista Outdoor (NYSE: VSTO), announced today that it has deepened its relationship with the state of Arkansas. It had previously invested in the state by purchasing pellet manufacturer, Fiber Energy Products, and expanding its supply chain by opening a new distribution center in Bryant. Now Vista has joined the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce.
The new distribution center, which opened in late 2021, is likely used to service the eastern side of the US for the grill manufacturer. From the Arkansas Democrat Gazette, the center is about 113,000 square feet, houses both Camp Chef and electric bike company, QuietKat and employs two dozen workers.
Arkansas has become a hotbed for barbecue pellet manufacturing and distribution centers, with Pit Boss Grills parent Dansons, opening the largest facility in the country earlier in the year.
