Registration is now open for the National Hardware Show (NHS) in Las Vegas. This annual event will be at the Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall from March 26th to the 28th. If you read this website though, you’ll be most interested in the NHS backyard, which is across from the convention center and features all of the BBQ and grilling products.
It’s a great industry event to network with other people in the BBQ industry and see the latest products that are coming to market. We attended last year and it was definitely worth the trip.
Beyond walking around the backyard to meet people, eat great food, and see new products, there are other events at the show.
- Executive Summit: The Executive Summit will host informational sessions with trending industry topics and prominent voices including VP of Industry Marketing at Houzz, Liza Hausman; How Changing Consumer Perceptions Impacts Retailers and Manufacturers presented by EY Americas; Consumer Trends in Merchandising and Planning Strategies presented by EY-Parthenon.

We’ve finally had a full year to plan and have taken full advantage of it. NHS Celebrity Chef Cook-Off
A really fun event at the National Hardware Show is the Celebrity Chef Cook-Off. It features some of the best chefs representing outdoor cooking brands and competing head-to-head. The event is present by Mitche Graf of BBQ Nation.
I had the honor of judging on the panel in 2023, which was a very memorable experience. The winner the past two years has been Tim Scheer from Blues Hog.
