The 4th of July is almost here! It’s the biggest grilling holiday, and one of my personal favorite holidays. I have a PKGO Hibachi being delivered over the weekend, so I’m excited to try it out with some hot and fast ribeyes on the 4th.
Premium charcoal is much easier to buy than it used to be. That trend is continuing, as Kroger stores in the Dallas-Fort Worth area have started carrying The Good Charcoal. That adds another 119 stores to The Good Charcoal Company’s store count.
Bass Pro Shops and their subsidiary, Cabela’s, released a new line of pellet grills. What stands out about them is they appear to use the same components of various Camp Chef pellet grills. The same controller, same hopper and cook chamber. The only real difference is the legs are changed out.
Solo Stove is going for the record of most people making s’mores at the same time. They are firing up around 500 Mesa tabletop fire pits at the Chicken N Pickle in their hometown of Grapevine, TX to accomplish their goal. If you’re in the area on July 22, it should be a fun event.
It appears that the Traeger pizza oven accessory may make it to market. They announced it in spring of 2022 with the Timberline XL, but then got rid of any mention of it as the grill market tanked. I’ve heard word of beta testers using it, and it was at the spoga gafa expo in Germany earlier this month.
If you’re kids are like mine and like to pretend they’re grilling, Char-Broil has the perfect toy. They launched a toy that’s inspired by a Performance Series 3-burner gas grill. It even has burner knobs that light up, like the real thing.
Finally, Grilla Grill’s parent company American Outdoor Brands released earnings this week. They didn’t say much about Grilla, but said that the brand performed “very well” for their fiscal year ending April 30th. It also appears new products are still in store from the brand.
