Prior to the Apex, all pellet grills on the market that had a gas option had the two grill chambers side by side. Camp Chef changed that with an innovative push button to switch between pellet cooking or gas all in the same cook chamber.
You can get the Apex as just a pellet grill, or you can buy it with the aforementioned gas kit for dual fuel capabilities. It comes in 2 different sizes, 24 inches and 36 inches. The 24-inch model has the following features.

The Apex is a versatile grill, with accessories to make it do pretty much any type of outdoor cooking (I’m looking at you Sidekick pizza oven). While the price tag is a little steep for some buyers, it’s definitely worth consideration.
