There’s tons of different options for pizza ovens on the market these days, so it’s notable when one comes along that isn’t like the rest. Grilla Grills does things a little different than other grill companies, and their new pizza oven keeps to that.
The Pie-Ro is Grilla’s new pellet fueled pizza oven. What’s unique about it, is it borrows technology from a pellet grill to make it easier. You’re not manually dropping in pellets into a fire in the back, there’s actually a pellet hopper, an auger, and a fire pot.
You can load this thing with ten pounds of pellets to cook for a while. You can see in the teaser video there’s a fire pot in the back corner that keeps the fire going up to 800 degrees F.
With all the mechanics of a pellet grill, Grilla paired it with the technology of a pellet grill. You can control the oven with a digital display or with the Grilla Grills phone app.

Enclosed Design
To help with warming up and staying warm, the pizza oven has a door on the front of the oven. If you’re cooking something besides pizza, the top also opens to make it easier to tend too.

Despite being a fully enclosed design, the pizza oven has a rotating pizza stone. Between that, and the pellet grill digital technology, it takes the learning curve away from cooking a perfect pizza. Just launch it in, and let the oven do all the hard work.
Act Fast
If you want to get one of these innovative new pizza ovens, you should act fast. They are advertising that they only have a limited quantity to start with. Sometimes that can be a sales tactic, but when it comes to Grilla Grills, I believe them.
They did the same thing when they launched the Mammoth vertical pellet grill. It sold out quick, then they would get drops of more inventory that would sell out, and rinse and repeat.
