Traeger is doubling down on gas griddles. Following the popularity of their Flatrock griddle, they’ve released the Flatrock Two Zone.

While Traeger may potentially have larger griddles coming in the future, the Flatrock Two Zone is smaller than their original Flatrock. As the name would indicate it’s a two burner griddle.

It was clear after launching our Flatrock 3 Zone that there is a unique hunger in the outdoor cooking space for the versatility that the griddle category provides. As we continue evolving our product offerings, we knew we wanted to introduce that same game-changing innovation and best-in-class quality in a smaller footprint. With its streamlined design and two-zone temperature control, the Flatrock 2 Zone is the perfect outdoor cooking tool for those looking for a high-quality cooking experience without sacrificing space or quality.

Feature and Specs

  • Retail price of $699 (check price)
  • 468 square inches of cooking area
  • Inlay design to the griddle plate for wind blocking
  • U-shaped burners for edge to edge heat
  • Grease management system to keep the mess contained and easy cleaning
  • Pop-And-Lock accessory rail system

The Flatrock Two Zone takes what people liked about the larger Flatrock and put it in a smaller package. It’s a good option for anyone with a smaller space or less people to feed.

It’s a premium priced griddle, much like Traeger’s connected pellet grills. With that premium price though comes a more refined design than many competitors.

Flatrock Three Zone

With the release of the new griddle, Traeger has renamed the OG Flatrock. Following the naming convention, it’s now called the Flatrock Three Zone. It’s the same griddle as before, but the new name makes sense now that it’s not the only kid on the block.
