Solo Brands Has Turned Over Entire Management Team – GC Resigns

After the Snoop Dogg Solo Stove promotion last year, Solo Brands, the parent company of Solo Stove, made a change at CEO. It was a familiar face to the industry, former Vista Outdoor CEO, Chris Metz.

Since then, Chris Metz has made many comments about changing the leadership team at Solo Brands. He’s stuck to that, and 2024 has been a year of transition for the compan.

we need to recruit a talented leadership team, a team that has what I call, been there, done that, experience, a leadership team with a proven track record for both results and attracting other talented people to strengthen our team.

We noted when Solo Brands’ COO resigned in September that there was only one person on the leadership team from before Chris Metz started in January. That person was the General Counsel, Kent Christensen, who now also has resigned.

It was disclosed in an SEC filing that he put in his resignation on December 16th, and it would be effective December 31st. In the interim, Chris Blevins, Solo Brands’ current Deputy General Counsel will take over while they permanently fill the role.
