One of our favorite Solo Stove accessories is the Surround. Like the name would imply, it’s a structure that the fire pit sits in to add more permanence and safety.
With two little kids and a dog, I was always worried an accident would happen and someone would touch the blazing hot fire place. The physical barrier of the surround gives me more piece of mind while always stressing fire safety.
Solo Stove added to the Surround last fall with the Surround Extend, which builds onto the Surround with an additional square table. Both are cool accessories, but they aren’t cheap and they are pretty big to move around.
Solo Stove has added to the Surround line-up with the new Surround Lite. Retailing at $199 (check price) for the Bonfire size, it’s a smaller, more portable way to add safety from your fire pit.
Unlike it’s larger counterparts, the Surround Lite slides over the fire pit and rests on the lip. That makes installation very quick and easy.
It uses a UV and fire-resistant outdoor fabric on the sides combined with powder coated steel to add structure. The top is made from powder coated steel with perforations to allow heat to escape.
You can use the Surround Lite with other Solo Stove accessories. It carries a lifetime warranty, so you know it’s built to last.
