Billed as the World’s Largest BBQ Store, Turn Up the Heat has closed it’s doors. It was formerly located Vaughan Ontario and boasted 50,000 square feet of retails. It’s auctioning it’s inventory currently which includes many top brands in outdoor cooking.
The auction started today (link to the auction) and runs through April 11th. It’s being managed by Danbury Global Ltd. & A.D. Hennick & Associates Inc. In addition to grills and grill accessories, warehouse equipment is part of the auction, including forklifts.
Everything will be sold [to] the highest bidders and the bidding for brand new in box BBQS start as low as fifty dollars
Jon Ordon, CEO of Danbury Global
The brands for sale include Broil King, Primo, Kamado Joe, Broilmaster, Tuscan Chef, Weber, and more. It’s an opportunity to score a discounted grill ahead of grilling season, or even some inventory for other retailers. There’s over $1.5 million of inventory for sale in the liquidation.
Turn Up The Heat opened in 2020 at the location of the former BBQ World at Langstaff and Highway 400. Due to a combination of many factors including declining sales and increased overhead, the company was forced to close its doors.
Each BBQ and pizza oven will be its own separate lot, so you can bid individually, or on multiple items. It’s a great opportunity to add to your outdoor living space right before BBQ season.
